Meeting minutes
QUB
EPIC group at Queen’s University Belfast introduces their research about open source software, hardware, and APIs platform for the development of phasor measurement unit technology, an advanced wired/wireless platform for integrated electric vehicle charging and discharging, unit commitment based computational scheduling methods for integrating plug-in electric vehicles in power system, and real-time estimation of battery internal temperature and state-of-charge based on a simplified thermoelectric model.
HIT
HIT group introduces their studies on the high performance operation in a wide power range of EV’s bidirectional charger, experiment of EV’s bidirectional charger, modeling of V2G charging station, harmonic characteristics of V2G charging station, Z-source integrated charger experiment results, private electric cars and buses cluster charging load model, using EVs to for power system frequency regulation, interconnected wind-coal intensive power systems scheduling, load time-shifting potential parameter extraction method, and electric vehicles charging considering N-1 security constraints.
NARI
NARI Corp. introduce their investigation on two parts: the variance study of willingness of customers to buy EV and the hybrid simulation modelling of EV, power system and transportation system. The first part involves objects involved EV purchase decisions, EV travel and charge decisions, questionnaire design and implementation of the above factors. The section part includes agent modelling process, mechanism, questionnaire correction and number requirements, verification and sensitivity analysis of simulation results. Sensitivity analysis and time-varying analysis of potential EV buyers’ preference is investigated by agent simulation.
