Shuangxin Wang received the BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeast Dianli University in 1986, the MSc degree in Process Control from North China Electric Power University in 1991, and the PhD degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2006. She held a visiting scholar position with Department of Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University, USA which the collaborator professor is Prof. Richard. W. Longman in 2008/09. Now she holds a visiting scholar position with Control System Centre, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Manchester, UK in 2014/15. Her collaborator professor is Prof. Hong. Wang.
Dr Wang is currently a professor in School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control Engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China. She is Senior Member at China Electrotechnical Society since 2006, and Senior Member at Beijing Society for Electrical Engineering since 1995. She is the leading author of one book and has also published over 80 papers in international and Chinese journals and conferences. She has also received outstanding academic paper award from Proceedings of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering in 2010. Her research interests are in the areas of nonlinear system analysis and control, optimization, and their applications in process control & renewable energy.
